The GLENWOOD ESTATES neighbourhood

​This gorgeous neighbourhood is considered by many to be the nicest one in Fraser Heights! This impressive subdivision started in 1986 and now has over 500 gracefully ageing homes with cedar or stucco siding, brick or stone accents, and good sized (7000 square foot average) lots. A typical Glenwood home is around 2400 square feet and many of them also have basements. The main entrance to Glenwood Estates is North off 104th avenue in about the 16500 block. Look for the granite entrance Walls with the brass Glenwood signs. This is a nice neighbourhood for walking as the winding streets are lined with mature trees and antique style street lights. There are trails conveniently located throughout and a scenic duck pond with a bridge. The public schools for the kids  are Fraser Wood Elementary and Fraser Heights Secondary. Both are walking distance from this subdivision.
