The FRASER GLEN neighbourhood

This is the subdivision that started it all and made Fraser Heights famous! Lucky for us all the City of Surrey didn't make Fraser Heights an industrial park as originally proposed back in the early 1980's. Fraser Glen is still one of the most popular subdivisions in all of Surrey! Characterized by an impressive entrance with a large duck pond that is visible from Highway 1, this neighbourhood started in 1984 and now has almost 500 homes. A typical Fraser Glen home averages 2100 square feet with 3 or 4 bedrooms upstairs and sits on a crawl space. Homes with basements are rare in this neighbourhood but there are a handful of them. The homes on the West side of the neighbourhood along the greenbelt typically have smaller lots than the homes to the East side of Glenwood Drive. Families choose Fraser Glen for the obvious pride of ownership throughout the subdivision, mature landscaping, walking trails and the timeless appeal of West Coast Contemporary architecture. All homes in Fraser Glen are easy walking distance to Fraser Wood Elementary school and Fraser Heights Secondary school as well as bus stops, local shopping and the rec centre.
