The ABBEY GLEN neighbourhood
If your kids are going to attend Pacific Academy School this is a neighbourhood you will want to consider. All the homes in this subdivision are easy walking distance to the private school. There is also a great public school called Bothwell Elementary which is in the middle of the neighbourhood on 102 Avenue. Winding streets and impressive larger stucco finished homes make this area a popular choice. For commuters there is a bus stop just North of 104th avenue on 168th street which is a close walk from most homes in Abbey Glen. Some homes in this neighbourhood have views towards Pitt Meadows and some of the homes have basements. Started in 1992 the average home here is about 2500 square feet and sits on a 7000 square foot lot. Abbey Glen also has a small selection of very large homes on half acre lots on the East side of 170a Street.
Abbey Glen proper is the subdivison located in the South East of Fraser Heights and is located between 168 Street and 172 street, and South of 104th Avenue and North of Barnston Drive West. Look for the huge brick buildings which are Pacific Academy School and you are in the right place. To the East of this neighbourhood on 104th avenue and Barnston Drive are several small newer neighbourhoods that don't have a name sign at the entrance. North of Barnston Drive between the 17300 block and 17500 block is an older area with homes on acre lots that is sometimes referred to as Abbey Ridge. To confuse matters, there is also another neighbourhood on the East side of 176 street called Abbey Ridge located in area of 180th Street and 98th avenue. In the search below of Homes For Sale it includes all the areas I discussed above. Questions? Give me a call. I'm happy to help.
